Aquariums can be placed almost anywhere you can think of and can be utilised for various beneficial uses, for example an aquarium in the reception area of any business or restaurant can help to create a serene and lasting first impression on clients, or an aquarium in your living room at home can also create an air of tranquillity, and also double as a learning experience for the entire family.

When booking in for an installation for an aquarium not supplied by ourselves, we would ideally suggest a meeting with you before the day so that we can see where the aquarium is being placed to get an idea of any potential issues with getting it into the premises and final position, and also to find out exactly what aquarium you are getting, what equipment you want fitted etc. Whilst this is not essential, it does allow us to make sure we have everything we need and are fully prepared for your installation so that it can all go as smoothly as possible.

Installation charges are based on the exact work that is taking place, so aquarium size, amount of equipment being fitted, whether we are also setting up the décor for you etc and for that reason all charges for this service are on an individual basis once we have all the information about the job requirements. There is no charge for getting a quote for an installation, including having us come out to discuss it with you, and no obligation to accept the quote, however we strongly believe that no matter what the request or situation we are fully capable of meeting if not exceeding your expectations so do get in touch with us to see how we can help you.

Once your system is fully operational, the next step is at your discretion. At HD Aquatics we can create a maintenance schedule suited to your knowledge and requirements. Our experienced, knowledgeable staff will do all the work for you including, but not limited to, cleaning the aquarium inside and out, water testing, filter maintenance and supplying new fish and corals. Our goal is to help educate you (if wanted!) on what we are doing with your aquarium rather than just coming in, maintaining it and then going and leaving you to care for it until our next visit. This being said, we are always at the end of the phone whenever you have any concerns or questions about your aquarium.
