At HD Aquatics our goal is to help you create a living piece of art that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home or office.

Regular, appropriate maintenance will ensure your aquarium and it's inhabitants remain healthy and happy, and whether you want us to take on that task weekly, fortnightly, monthly or just as and when required, we at HD Aquatics can provide a professional service for you along with expert advice and information on all fish, corals, water and equipment enquiries you may have.

During our aquarium maintenances the following tasks will be performed as standard:

​

• Clean all interior and exterior surfaces and accessories (glass/acrylic, trim/woodwork, lids, feeders etc).

• Hydro vac gravel/substrate, with a minimum 15% water change (30% on average, depending on the aquariums specific needs).

• Check/replace chemical filtration media.

• Check and clean additional equipment such as UV sterilisers, protein skimmers etc.

• Water testing

• Visual health and stock checks

Additional services are also available at an additional cost including:

• Supplying and installing replacements for  broken or worn parts.

• Cleaning/exchange rocks, plants, coral etc.

• Supplying livestock (fish, plants etc)

• Supplying dry goods (filter sponges, food, medications etc)

Before we come to perform an aquarium maintenance for you for the first time, we will always arrange an appointment to come and meet with you, see the aquarium and equipment installed on it, and discuss with you your specific needs. This appointment is offered on a complimentary basis and there is no pressure to take up our services following the meeting.
